Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP)
My goal as an FNTP is to help others navigate this tricky road to better nutrition. Through education and personal one-on-one interactions, together we can find the answers to your nutrition needs.

What do we do?
Together, we see how we can ‘make your blows count’. If food’s “job” is to nourish us, energize us & make us feel good, wouldn’t you want to consume the food that’s most efficient at that?
But, what if your body’s reaction to a food is not the same as someone else’s reaction? This is where we like to use the term “bio-individual,” which simply means we are all at least a little different from one another. Your mother didn’t eat the exact same foods while she was pregnant with you that she ate during your sibling’s gestation. Nor did she experience the exact same stresses - emotional, environmental, etc. All of these things can be a factor in our development and how we interact with the world - even down to how we look or how we digest.
So in Nutritional Therapy, we work on your needs. Using foundational principles, we work together to try to bring your body into balance. We will look at things like Stress, Sleep, Movement, Digestion, Blood Sugar Regulation, Mineral Balance, Hydration, and Fatty Acids - all under the umbrella of a Nutrient Dense, Whole-Food Lifestyle. A simple change, like proper hydration, can make a huge difference.
When working together, I try to gather as much information as possible so I can try to piece together your story as clearly as I can. Yes, this does require a bit of time, effort and paperwork on your part - but I promise, it’s worth it! This can also include the functional part of Nutritional Therapy - where we gather physical information from your body using nutritional, neuro-lymphatic and neuro-vascular points located throughout your body. Your body’s response to these points can help us to narrow our focus as to the best approach for your body in its current state.
As Hippocrates said, “Let food be thy medicine”. So if you’re ready, let’s see how we can make that statement true for you.
